Blessing of our Pets
Remembering the Life of Saint Francis
As St. Francis often preached to birds and other animals, it has become a custom for people to bring their pets to church for a blessing. At Nativity last year, we blessed the pets on Saturday, October 1. with about 30 humans and an equal number of pets participating.
